ALL-ALUMINIUM

Featherlite pioneered the all aluminium uni-body construction. Featherlite trailers are constructed with high quality alloy-tempered aluminium presenting unmatched reliability,
strength and durability. All components of the trailer
from side posts to roof rails to roof bows to cross
members are all engineered into a uni-body design.

Integrated into the design Featherlite uses an arched aluminium roof providing stronger support. The arched properties also allow rain to run off efficiently. Featherlite's roof fabrication is unique to trailer manufacturing, utilising the superior pierce and roll system. Stainless steel rivets are driven into the aluminium without piercing the roof. A secure crown forms up and around
the bottom of the rivet, reducing the opportunity for water leakage.

Featherlite trailers feature a solid support system underneath for the heaviest of loads. 4 cross members run every 12 inches
under the trailer.
